Public bug reported:
Calibre crashes *spectacularly* on Oneiric when the "next" button is
selected in the setup/welcome wizard. This is the bug referenced in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre/+bug/843440 (bug #843440.)
Jon Meek, the reporter of the above bug (marked invalid as it was
reported as affecting Calibre itself) and myself believe that the
problem lies with the Ubuntu Calibre package. The present version of
Calibre from the web site works fine, so we think that either there is a
conflict somewhere in the package, or the issue has been fixed in the
version of Calibre currently available from the Calibre web site.
