Hello, I am having exactly the same problem,i know that i do need to restricted drivers, and a know that they are enabled and working (i have run glxgears -info) and i get ~4000fps with my Nvidia 6600.
however when i click restricted driver management it tells me: "your hardware does not need any restricted drivers" This is blatantly not true. i think it might have something to do with the direct rendering: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ xdriinfo Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
