Estimados, hoy me siento muy agradecido a ustedes por este post, hace meses que vengo buscando una soluciòn al problema del brillo en mi acer 5742. Sin necesidad de actualizar el BIOS, solo probé editando el grub, actualicé, y reinicié. Ahora las teclas de atajo para el brillo funcionan de maravilla!!!! Muchas Gracias Oscar!!! Lucas.
