Public bug reported:

Upon clicking the Maximise Button on a Unmaximised Window, the window
not only does not maximise, but also loses all window control actions.
Minimise, Close or Maximise; none of them work after this. Alt+Spacebar
brings up the Window Menu, with all options intact, but selecting
Maximise results in only the window being moved to the Top-Right,
without any actual Re-draw of the window.

It worked fine till the latest update (I updated it on Sept. 10,
in.archive.ubuntu.com) After the update, and an immediate restart, this
annoying behaviour started showing up.

Ubuntu 11.10 beta 1 (with all latest updates applied, as of Sept. 10,
2011)

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
