Hi Kevin/ Bkintegration.
I have the same problem with Canon PIXMA iP2200. The problem is the same as 
above - I first used the driver that came with Ubuntu 11.04 (I believe I had to 
actually try IP2000) and then with the Canon drivers IP2200 from the Canon 
website. When printing, the result is a blinking led on the printer and a 
finished print job, but no print. The printer does not react.

Would you have a (script) fix for this or can you a suggest a procedure
I  should follow?
