I can also see this problem with newly installed Ubuntu 7.10. su-to-root is not there by default. Succest that the desktop launcher is fixed to 'gksu -S gsambad'. Also this desktop file should be moved under System -> Administration (or something, I'm using Finnish translation) because for that purpose it is.
