I said earlier that I don't see the problem on a system that was upgraded from Edgy to Feisty. This system doesn't hang not because it was upgraded instead of a clean install, but rather because it has more RAM (3GB)
There is still a major performance issue when kdvi attempts to render graphics in my document. Attached is a system monitor screenshot showing huge rises in the amount of used RAM which coincide with the gs process. ** Attachment added: "kdvi_mem_usage.png" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7542314/kdvi_mem_usage.png -- MAJOR problem with new ubuntu and ghostscript https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/110765 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kdegraphics in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
