Public bug reported:

When I get the crash report bubble in xfce's system tray and I click it
-> report problem, it asks for my password, yet doesn't accept it.
synaptic is the same when launched from system tray. However, all other
apps (e.g. upgrade manager, additional drivers manager, etc.) accept my
password when attempting admin duties
