ah ok I understand. I had already see that my computer wasn't as efficient as in windows XP with which I can run the 'Toshiba Power Saver' program. Program that is really good.
But at least I can run Ubuntu on my computer and it is not always freezing for no reason. It was doing that since I intalled Ubuntu for the first time, so 2 month ago. lol I was searching for a solution all this time! But in Edgy, it was not as bad as in Feisty. I'm new to linux as you can see. Do you think that the problem that we have with the ACPI is a bug or it is simply a configuration that is not ok? What I'm trying to say is do you think that the fact that we have to turned off the ACPI option, is it a bug in Ubuntu or it is because my computer can't support this option...I don't know if I'm clear...
