Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception: A new kBuild upstream version is required to build the VirtualBox 4.1.2 maintainance release (changelog: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Changelog). Since virtualbox is the only reverse (build-)dependency of kbuild the risk shoud be fairly low.
