Public bug reported: In Ubuntu 10.04 (64-bit), I can't install the latest Maverick kernel headers (2.6.35-30). When trying to install "linux-headers-generic-lts- backport-maverick", Synaptic says "Depends: linux- headers-2.6.35-30-generic but it is not going to be installed".
Looks like the package "linux-headers-2.6.35-30" is missing from the repo, because when trying to manually install "linux- headers-2.6.35-30-generic" it says that "linux-headers-2.6.35-30" is missing. For example for 2.6.35-25, "linux-headers-2.6.35-25" exists (along with "linux-headers-2.6.35-25-generic") ** Affects: linux-lts-backport-maverick (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - In Lucid, can not install linux-headers-2.6.35-30-generic + In Lucid, can not install linux-headers-generic-lts-backport-maverick -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/830570 Title: In Lucid, can not install linux-headers-generic-lts-backport-maverick To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-backport-maverick/+bug/830570/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
