Before my printer stopped working I could print on Ubuntu 11.04 and
Windows 7 (dual boot). After stopping on Ubuntu 11.04, I have to go to
Windows 7 for my print jobs.
I then reinstalled Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.04 (clean installs). Printing
still works on Windows 7 but not on Ubuntu 11.04.
Somewhere along the way somebody's update (CUPS or HPLIP) was flawed on
Ubuntu 11.04 and stopped my printing option.
