The first warning I know to be innocuous - I've seen that too, and
reported it to pitti who confirmed and either fixed it or has it on his
todo list.
The warnings about the theme engine are probably innocuous too, but are
not ones I've seen myself. I bet they pop up only when you answer 'Yes'
to letting apport collect the display manager log files.
As to the freeze, it sounds like it may be the same as reported in bug
#823594. Please have a look at the video posted on that bug and see if
it's the same as you're seeing. I also posted some analysis directions
to that bug that could help isolate the problem.
