In theory the banners could be scaled, but in practice they will usually be based on a bitmap graphic, and scaling them down (by any factor other than 0.5) would make them blurry. So I don't think this problem is any more than an inevitable consequence of the fact that netbooks have tiny screens.
It's *possible* that the current fixed size for banners is a little tall, but changing that would make little difference here. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/823534 Title: USC gtk3 banner seems over size on a netbook To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/823534/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
