Hi, just upgraded from Edgy to Feisty-fawn and have the exact same problem.
However, here are additional infos: -Keyboard layout: Generic 104-key PC Activated Layouts: - Canada (default) - U.S. English When I open up a terminal, I usually switch to U.S. English, however the mapping of the "\ |" key types "< >", like it would normally do on the Canada keyboard configuration. It is annoying, but there seems to be a workaround: Put U.S. English first and then Canada (still being default) in the Keyboard Preferences dialog, everything works normally. -- Keyboard losing some character like "|" (pipe) on Feisty Fawn https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106837 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
