Here is some additional info: There seems to be some problem with the "Multi Track Internal Clock" which causes the slow playback. Sometimes the clock frequency is not at the required frequency after sound card initialization. It can, however, be reset manually and sound works afterwards.
I still have to boot at least twice to get sound working.
