Yes, you are right. Just remove the cdrom.

remove all stuff from the sources.list file and just use the following 3
lines:

deb http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ dapper main restricted universe 
multiverse
deb http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ dapper-updates main restricted 
universe multiverse
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ dapper-security main restricted universe 
multiverse

Then run "sudo apt-get update" and afterwards "sudo apt-get -u dist-
upgrade".

You could get some errors during the upgrade - this is quite "normal".
Just rerun "sudo apt-get -u dist-upgrade" several times.

Finally run "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop" to ensure that you
have a working desktop. Reboot.
