I just installed the proposed (security) updates on my Lucid Lynx system. This resulted in the following error:
root@sharokan:~# dpkg --configure -a Setting up linux-image-2.6.32-33-generic (2.6.32-33.71) ... I fear this means that the update made my system unbootable. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/653766 Title: package linux-image-2.6.32-25-generic 2.6.32-25.44 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/653766/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
