Try hitting reload in synaptic (upper left corner) or running sudo apt-get update
in a terminal, then try it again. Background information: The package list on your system is outdated. Sometime since it was updated the last time and when you tried to install k3b, a library k3b needs was updated in Ubuntu, but your system does not yet know about it.
