Pratically already fixed in Lucid and later (using "Use this connection only for the resources on its network"). Since it's largely fine for simple configurations, I'll mark this Fix Released. Things will work properly for relatively simple configurations, and DNS will by default be added to the list in /etc/resolv.conf. As long as domains are not resolvable on all the types of nameservers at once, things work. Otherwise, dnsmasq or others may need to be used.
Further requests for dns caching are "in progress" in NM, so you may want to ask about them on the NetworkManager mailing list. ** Changed in: network-manager-vpnc (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192645 Title: Add, not replace current DNS, when doing network routing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-vpnc/+bug/192645/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
