*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 721576 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/721576
This bug is a frequent one that I see occurring on UEFI systems (including my brother's i5-2500/Asus P8P67 LE setup) - I think it is caused by firmware shipped by the manufacturer that does not follow UEFI specifications for reboot/suspend/hibernate. I believe this to be a duplicate of bug #721576 due to the fact we get very similar kernel oops errors, so I will mark it as such. Many thanks, Timothy ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 721576 [natty] kernel panic on reboot with (U)EFI -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/816659 Title: Kernel oops on 11.04 shutdown/restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/816659/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
