I spent a bit of time looking at this today. There is no obvious changelog or release notes (except they finally have one starting with the still-in-development 2.13). And the developers appear to basically support Mac & Windows. I couldn't find the Qt viewer any more so I'm guessing it's been removed completely.
While the Debian/Ubuntu version is out of date, the lack of a GUI is a significant regression. And the package has changed so much in the past few years that this is more of a new package than a simple update. I don't have the time to work on this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/614229 Title: avida needs updating to new version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/avida/+bug/614229/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
