Public bug reported:
Apport no longer notifies me of new crashes. I
1. Made sure Apport was running,
2. Made sure '/var/crash' was empty,
3. Made something crash that's not blacklisted (Compiz)
→ no pop-up was shown notifying me about the crash.
There's nothing suspicious in '/var/log/apport.log' and the .crash files
*are* generated.
