Public bug reported: With the mapping of Super+P to video mode(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings- daemon/+bug/694910) I have unintentionally switched video modes several times and, whilst cycling through the modes to get back to my original setting, the system crashes, being unresponsive over a pre-existing ssh connection, with audio playback looping over the last couple of seconds of playback, and no reaction to keyboard input - except for holding down the power button for several seconds.
Now I think about it, I haven't tried the sysreq magic yet - I will do on the next one - but the crash exists, and I can reproduce by cycling video modes with Super+p.
