Steps to reproduce. 1) Open VMWare workstation. 2) Switch to full screen mode. 3) Minimize VMWare Workstation window using fullscreen edge menu. 4) Restore VMWare Workstation window from Unity menu.
At this point, any un-maximized windows will show no borders.
