A had reported this problem to Ghostscript upstream some days ago: http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=692380
Thet have checked your PDF file and it still contains the images. the problem are PDF renderers/viewers. Acrobat Reader and evince dispaly black boxes whereas most other viewers, like Okular, XPDF, gv, ... display your files correctly. So the bug is in the viewers or in the rendering libraries behind them. ** Bug watch added: Ghostscript (AFPL) Bugzilla #692380 http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=692380 ** Also affects: gs-gpl via http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=692380 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Also affects: acroread (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ghostscript (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Also affects: poppler (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/817049 Title: gs renders images as black boxes when generating PDF files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gs-gpl/+bug/817049/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
