I found the problem started with the upgrade of java. I found a post in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1101374 >From the #7 I changed to my actual configuration.
I did executed the command gedit ~/.profile And apended this line, based on my actual jvm folders: export JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.26/; export PATH=$PATH:/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.26/bin/ Now freemind is runing again. Sorry, it is not a bug of FreeMind, it is a missing link with jvm. Is'n it?
