I tried killing nm-applet and running wicd instead with wicd-client -n to bring
up a gtk window. Wicd would connect, I could use the Internet for a short
time, then it would disconnect just like nm-applet did. In the terminal window
wicd had been launched from, however, appeared the word "refresh."
Therefore, it appears that with these kernels the wireless card in my Acer
Aspire One withg Intel Atom N450 can connect, but disconnects on refresh.
This bug is still present in linux-image-3.0.0-6-generic_3.0.0-6.7_i386.deb and
also the pae version, testing these prompted by wicd tests.
Same problem whether using nm-applet or wicd, implying this is in fact in the
kernel.
