Mauricio: The bug should be fixed in 2.6.38-10.46. Please go ahead and test the actual proposed release to verify this. The following commands should install that kernel over what you have now since you already have proposed enabled:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install linux-headers-2.6.38-10 linux-headers-2.6.38-10-generic linux-image-2.6.38-10-generic If that doesn't work then run 'apt-get install --reinstall' for the same packages. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771758 Title: acer-wmi prevents wifi (bcmwl/brcm80211) from working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/771758/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
