This patch includes new Elantech models from previous patches and fixes excessive wobble on the ETF1059 (ETF5900) model used in the System76 Pangolin Performance model. We've created a DKMS module that we're distributing until the patch makes it upstream and into Ubuntu. You can use the module with the following commands: sudo apt-get install dkms cd /usr/src/ sudo wget http://planet76.com/drivers/elantech/psmouse-elantech-v6.tar.bz2 sudo tar jxvf psmouse-elantech-v6.tar.bz2 sudo dkms add -m psmouse -v elantech-v6 sudo dkms build -m psmouse -v elantech-v6 sudo dkms install -m psmouse -v elantech-v6 -- This has fixed my Asus k43e touchpad. It was recognized as logitec ps2 mouse before -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/681904 Title: [arrandale] Samsung QX310/QX410/QX510/SF310/SF410/SF510/NF210/RF410/RF510/RF511/RF710 trackpad/touchpad not recognized To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/681904/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
