Dear Iain, thank you for telling me about this option. Unfortunatly, I am not experienced in building packages myself. The most I've been doing so far is to add additional repositories.
I also do not use pmx or m-tx and therefore I am not able to test those programms. It looks to me like I am not able to contribute significantly to the next step in producing a backport.
