Public bug reported: I freshly installed lubuntu 11.04 with the Minimal installer following the guide given in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/DocumentationHelp/MinimalInstall . There is no sound at all. Everyting seems to work, I can change the volumes etc. I tried the steps of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems , no success. The machine is ano older Dell with integrated Intel soud card and previously run an older xubuntu (release 9.04 I think) with which the sound worked all right.
