Hi sebek: are we contradicting each other? I seem to rememeber that when USEPEERDNS is selected, my DNS server is that of the remote network (which I believe is correct behaviour?), but when it is not selected, resolv.conf is empty bar the header: which is not correct - it should be the DNS server of your current network (i.e. as it was before you started the VPN). I haven't got Ubuntu at hand at the moment, so cannot double check, but I'm fairly sure this is the case for me?
