Boris, Could you please contact whoever is responsible for Ubuntu so they can add more recent versions to Maverick and Natty? The current version for Maverick is still 0.118, and that is more than 1 year old. Maverick repository could be updated to v0.120 or (preferably) v0.121
The will be no package conflict with wine 1.3 because q4wine depends on wine1.2 OR wine (metapackage), and wine 1.3 (provided by their official PPA) also provides an updated wine metapackage, so both dependencies will be satisfied. I could use your unofficial PPA, but this is only a workaround... the best solution would be if official Ubuntu repositories were updated with newer versions.
