This problem appeared after I upgraded from Ubuntu 6.10 to 7.04.  It 
used to happen to me when I ran Fedora.  I ran Fedora from 1 thru 6.  
Every time a kernel update came in, VMware Server would stop running.  I 
would have to rerun vmware-config.pl to fix the problem.

This time it will not work.  I keep getting errors when the 
configuration program attempts to read the kernel files.  (Not sure what 
the correct name is.)  I will attempt to try this again in the morning.  
I will cut and paste what I get into an email and send it to you.
