Thank You for changing the package; this made the thing work better, e.g. no more problems closing tabs in firefox, and sometimes even well. But still the effect appears, obviously depending on the graphical performance a program or website requires. If it is e.g. possible to enlarge the website, often the screen gets clear. A video running on a small part of the screen or small letters will rather cause the effect of pixel distortion than greater letters or a full-screen clip. When trying to log in on launchpad this time once more I had to recall the page, so that I could enter the password what was not possible at the first attempt. If it is so difficult to adjust the unity desktop to the radeon driver, might it be a solution to drop back to the old gnome desktop as ubuntu still automatically does when installing on elder weaker systems?
