This card is not at all supported by the v4l team. There was a working version which was not up to coding standards, but ran up / including Ubuntu's last LTS release (Lucid). After that, the v4l version control and build system has been changed, and the driver does not compile anymore.
I have decided AGAINST making it runnable on newer kernels, as there are some people working right now on a new release.
