Details : Nautilus 3.0.5 is latest in natty, no newer in natty-backports or natty- proposed. Here's what I did : wget -S https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/nautilus-actions_3.1.2.orig.tar.gz https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/nautilus-actions_3.1.2-1.debian.tar.gz https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/nautilus-actions_3.1.2-1.dsc dpkg-source -x nautilus-actions_3.1.2-1.dsc # Cf. http://www.debian.org/doc/FAQ/ch-pkg_basics.en.html cd nautilus-actions-3.1.2 debuild -us -uc sudo dpkg -i ../nautilus-actions_3.1.2-1local1_amd64.deb # Then "steps to reproduce" again. Indeed switching to nautilus-actions_3.1.2-1 fixes the crash. The action works. So, it looks like the bug is fixed in Oneiric. Can you push some fix for plain natty users ?
