Hooman: I don't think that's a problem, the <Super> key is really an operating-system level key, and one that has not been traditionally available to applications. To me, it's a very high-level interrupt key, much like the global home/kill hardware button found on Apple's touch devices.
It would probably be possible to improve the expand the current experience; for instance after a 1-second delay a series of dash-like icons could pop up in the middle of the screen, showing the other <Super>-<Something> combinations that are available for use at that point ("Projector" mode if we're going to try and be compatible with the keyboards that have that printed on them. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/784263 Title: Windows (Super) Key Combinations Show Launcher To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/784263/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
