@MIR approval team,

I have updated this MIR request, please review it. This request is very
important for having input methods working in 11.10.

** Description changed:

- Binary package hint: im-config
+ im-config's MIR requirements checks:
+ 1.Availability: im-config is already in Ubuntu universe, and works well so
far.

- The new version of ibus in Debian is depending on im-config instead of
- im-switch.
+ 2.Rationale:
+ * im-config is a replacement of im-switch, used to set input methods for
users. Now Debian has switched to use im-config as default, so there is no
reason for Ubuntu to don't do so - it's obvious that Ubuntu's input method
packaging is very largely depends on Debian, and we don't want to generate more
delta. Without this package, ibus would be unusable (current status in 11.10).
+ * All of its (build) dependencies except dialog are in main already, dialog
has its own MIR task.

- So we need include im-config to main instead of im-switch
+ 3.Security and QA: There isn't any security problems detected, no Debian
+ bugs nor Ubuntu bugs, well maintained by upstream.
+
+ 4.Maintenance: This is a very simple package which don't need too much
+ time to investigate.
+
+ -----------------------------
+ dialog's MIR requirements checks:
+ 1.Availability: dialog is already in Ubuntu universe, and works well so far.
+
+ 2.Rationale: it is a dependency of im-config, which is needed to
+ correctly set input methods.
+
+ 3.Security and QA: There isn't any security problems detected, no Debian
+ bugs, 2 not important Ubuntu bugs, well maintained by Debian maintainer.
+
+ 4.Maintenance: This is a very simple package which don't need too much
+ time to investigate.
