Public bug reported: There is an error in default keyboard layout of the Language India>Malayalam, the key "q" in Malayalam layout(qwerty keyboard) prints "ൌ"(U+0D4C) symbol, also the same is printed with "Q" in Malayalam Lathika Layout, But it should be printing "ൗ"(U+0D57)
I have checked this on 10.04 and 11.04, I hope that this could be fixed easily , but it should be fixed in the default layout from 11.10 { If you know malayalam thing of the meaning of word beauty(സൗന്ദര്യം, and its not സൌന്ദര്യം ,), also think of many other words ~all uses "ൗ" and not "ൌ"} ** Affects: scim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/802103 Title: Error in Malayalam keyboard layout To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/scim/+bug/802103/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
