I have exactly the same problem (with 2.1 dapper), backtrace looks the same.
I found this bug duplicated a few times on bugs.kde.org, they all refer to version 2.1.4 as the solution. When I start it from the shell, I always see this warning: Qt: Warning: QGArray::at: Absolute index 0 out of range before it crashes.
