To P Cantwall : this is exactly what I did : as you see I also subscribe to this bug because I had it on Ubuntu 11.04. Because of that and other broken packages (and completly buggy Unity), I quit Ubuntu for Archlinux. And I'm now very glad (of course, Archlinux need to be a little configured and understood to make a good desktop environnement but once it's done, this is really pure hapiness).
