Yes, it is still an issue. In Nautilus, I right-click and choose.. Open with Movie Player. - Movie Player opens but doesn't show anything playing. No levels/visuals. Open with Audacity - no sound, but visual levels are moving. Open with Banshee - it plays. Open with VLC - it plays. Open with xine - no sound, but visual levels are moving. Open with Sound Recorder - it plays.
