The acpi=noirq option breaks the detection of battery status change. There is a kernel patch available to make the battery status working on AO251. With acpi=noirq status changes (battery -> powersupply and vice versa) are not propagated to the system. Only after suspend/resume the new status is recognized. The uswsusp workaround is no option if you want to have a working battery status (with the mentioned kernel patch). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/653524 Title: Suspend to RAM doesn't work on Acer Aspire One with Ubuntu 10.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/653524/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
