I had a loss of session today, without any trace of what happened (dmesg, /var/log/syslog, /var/log/Xorg.0.log, ~/.xsession_errors do not show anything at all) X simply vanished. I am assuming this is *not* the same issue.
OTOH, this was the single issue today on LightDM.
