Identical problem on near-identical system background above. This should not be low-priority. The Dash search is a primary method for locating applications and tools that are not graphically listed.
I have been making an honest effort to adapt to the Unity desktop. I would have preferred not having my menu selections dumbed-down or pretty-fied for me. The broken Dash search make Unity even harder to adjust to. I understand that Ubuntu is attempting to position itself for better graphics performance in the future, and these are bumps in the transitional path. And I'm sure the Dash will be fixed eventually. I just wanted to inject that this should not be a low-priority issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/769279 Title: Unity search bar is unresponsive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/769279/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
