ok. this is gonna make me sound bad, but perhaps it will help those even more clueless than I.
It was user error. The Show: filter was set to Third Party Applications. So I switched it to All Available Applications & I see them all now. I'd like to think that the upgrade set it to that, but I can eliminate myself. I was clicking around a lot, so... you can close this one. Thanks for the follow up.
