I was hit by the same bug after upgrade to Natty - the original poser's solution worked (configuring "$Conf{Ping6Path} = '/bin/ping6';".
I totally agree that this should be set by default - there's no reason for others to waste time trying to figure out why backups aren't working (there's no clear indication that this is the cause). I don't have ipv6 support on LAN nor externally, and have not changed anything in this regard in Ubuntu's internal configuration as far as I know. If there's anything in my configuration that you'd like me to check to help with this, I'd be happy to. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/782890 Title: no ping response on all hosts after upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/backuppc/+bug/782890/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
