Hi Michael, No need to write a patch. For applications in the main repository, their translations can be fixed directly in Launchpad. So for example, in this case you'd go to the following URL and translate the untranslated strings:
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/+source/apport However, what you're seeing in English is an untranslatable string from the optparse module in Python: -h, --help show this help message and exit Martin, I'm not sure what the best solution would be here. Could perhaps the default "-h" help string from optparse be overridden and made translatable? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/741343 Title: ubuntu-bug --help is using english and german To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apport/+bug/741343/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
